One-on-one personal training at the gym or in your home. An hour at a time, as early as 5 a.m.
We talk first. Then we train. See prices

You tell me what you want to work on, and we start there. If an old knee injury or a sore back has been getting in the way, we might spend the first half of the hour on it, then move into a workout that includes it. If something flares up partway through, we ease off and work on that instead. If something needs a closer look than I can give it, I'll send you to get it checked.
“His efforts to personalize the training helped develop strength with mobility while managing injuries.”

Keeping it up is the hard part, so I check in by text during the week, and when I see you next, we pick up from that conversation. If you miss a session, we find another time to make it up. Nutrition is part of it too, if you want it to be.
“He's helped me stay consistent, adjust when I need to, and keep making gains even when life gets busy.”

Getting back into it after a long break or after having a baby, working around an old injury, or keeping up with a sport you love. Beginners are welcome.
Some clients start on their own, then bring their spouse and kids. Couples can train together too.
I start by talking with you about what sport your son or daughter plays and what their coach wants them working on. Before anyone lifts anything heavy, I want to see their push-ups and their squats, so we build from the ground up and keep the load light while they're still growing. You're welcome to sit in. I have a vulnerable sector check, and I'm trained in first aid and CPR.

“[He] adjusts thoughtfully around injuries or strains, knows when to push and when to give space, and does it all with zero ego and an incredibly kind, positive energy that has also made him a wonderful role model for our son.”

At the gym, or in your home. You don't need a gym membership. My first session is at 5 a.m. and my last usually starts at 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. We'll find the times that fit your week on the first call.
“He also has a great sense of humour and always brings positive energy, no matter the time of day—even during early-morning sessions when I'm grumpy!”

Sessions are an hour. Most clients train two or three times a week, and we work out what fits you on the first call. The call is free. Sessions can be moved with 24 hours' notice.
It depends on what you're after. If you're active on your own and we're working on mobility or keeping injuries away, once a week works. Most clients come two or three times a week, and we'll figure out what fits you on the first call.
That depends on your goals. I can train you with no equipment at all, but if you want to get stronger, you'll need some weights. We'll go over it on the first call.
Yes.
No. I train Monday to Friday, starting at 5 a.m.
Yes. I'll give you advice on what you eat. I don't write meal plans.
Let me know at least 24 hours ahead and we'll move the session. With less notice than that, it's half the session fee. If you miss one, we find another time to make it up.
Yes. I work with women getting back into it after having a baby, and with back issues too. We start from where you are.
I'll send you to get it checked, and we'll go from there.

I'm Doug. It starts with a free call, and it's mostly me getting to know you and what you want to work on.
